Wi -Fi channels 1, 6 and 11 are the best?
If you live in a building, there are probably dozens of wifi networks around you.All of them operate in the 2.4 GHz band, while some others also do it in the 5 GHz, and even some of your devices may be compatible with the new 6 GHz.However, the 2.4 GHz, being the most used, is the one that tends to saturate and generate interference.
The 2.4 GHz band in Europe operates between the 2.401 and 2.472 MHz.Among those 71 MHz we find a total of 13 channels of 22 MHz each, which overlap each other. Each channel concentrates its maximum frequency in leaps of 5 MHz, placing for example channel 1 in the 2.412 MHz, Channel 2 in the 2.417 MHz, and so on until reaching 2.472 MHz of Channel 13.
