Tips to protect yourself from financial fraud and make good use of data

Social engineering is the set of practices that criminals use in order to psychologically manipulate people to obtain their personal data and to be able to illegally access their emails, bank accounts and contact information.
The channels used for this type of attack are diverse: email or by phone, through a call in which a person (family member, friend or work colleague) or company is impersonated.
Also, there are attacks that are made through text messages through which criminals seek to get the victim to click on a false link that impersonates the real company site.
And although there are various methods used by criminals for this type of fraud, the decision of people to click, answer the call or provide information is what ends up specifying the task of cybercriminals.
