The number of deaths is on the rise
Yesterday Tuesday, Paraguay surpassed all records in terms of contagion figures, deaths and internees by covid-19 so far in 2022. To date, the number of deaths has reached 17,054 since the entry of the virus into the country. According to the updated report given by the health card, 12,160 samples were processed yesterday, of which 5,864 tested positive. So Paraguay reaches 548,252 contagion.
In terms of death numbers, 45 people were reported to have failed to defeat the virus. These are 26 female and 19 male, from Alto Paraná, Amambay, Asunción, Boquerón, Caazapá, Canindeyú, Central, Concepción, Cordillera, Guairá, Itapúa, Paraguarí and San Pedro.
They also raised awareness of the age and immunization situation of the deceased. Between 20 and 39 years old, there is one deceased; 40 to 59 years old, 7. 60 years old and over 37. Of these, 16 had no vaccines, 21 had full doses and 8 had incomplete doses.
The report highlights that 853 people are hospitalized; of this number, 155 patients are in ICU. There are 78 unvaccinated patients, 49 with a complete vaccination schedule and 28 with incomplete doses. They also reported 3,035 recovered, bringing together 472,510 people who overcome the evil.
