Is your gigabit wired network falling short? You can now upload to a 10 Gbps - PcDeMaNo
WiFi networks are becoming more powerful in terms of security, stability... and speed, but they cannot be equal to "classic" wired networks. It has been a long time since our friend Alifatico dedicated himself to helping us improve our home network by preparing a CAT6 cable for us to enjoy Gigabit speed with our PCs.
Now with the increase in bandwidth that comfortably reaches 10 gigabits, even reaching 25 or 40, there are already CAT7 or even CAT8 cables, although they are very expensive and rigid
The problem with using these speeds is their lack of compatibility with most PCs or laptops today. An interesting solution, for the use of 10 Gigabits at a domestic level, would be the use of Innodisk's EGPL-T101.
Thanks to this card in M.2 2280 format, it allows you to reach these speeds of up to 10 Gbps both on PCs with Windows or Linux for which it includes the corresponding drivers.
The production of said card began last December and it can already be purchased, for example, from here at $166 per unit.
